Three people assaulted outside Bridlington takeaway

A man suffered a broken arm and two women were injured after an assault outside a town centre takeaway.

Two women, aged 19 and 26, asked to use the toilet at Speedy Peppers in Promenade but were confronted by another customer who thought they had been jumping the queue.

When they left the takeaway, the man approached them and became aggressive and allegedly assaulted both women. A second man, aged 36, tried to intervene and was also assaulted.

The offender then walked off down Promenade towards the centre of the town.

The man sustained a broken arm. One woman sustained two broken fingers and the second woman sustained bruising to the face and a swollen eye.

The suspect has been described as around 5ft 9ins, of medium build, aged around 35, with a beard. He was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt.

The assault happened at around 2.30am on Sunday, August 31 and the suspect has been captured on CCTV.
