January 6:

Edward Douglas Harrison, 34, of Mill Lane, Pickering: fined £200 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs, and banned from driving for 20 months, for drink-driving, at Eastfield.

Petre Ioan, 42, of Commercial Street, Norton: community order made, including 80 hours of unpaid work over 12 months, plus £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, and banned from driving for 25 months, for failing without reasonable excuse to proivide a specimen of breath, driving without a valid licence and driving without valid insurance.

Mark Anthony Kay, 46, of Barwick Street: fined £80 plus £309 compensation, £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs for damaging a vehicle to a value of £309.

Daniel Gough, 27, of Grosvenor Crescent: community order revoked and jailed for 12 weeks for failing to comply with a community order and original offence for which community order was made, of drink-driving, on the A64 at Musham Bank, and driving while disqualified.

Lewis William Murray, 19, of Prickett Road, Bridlington: fined £230 plus £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs for driving without due care and attention, on Filey Road, Scarborough.

Nathan Stroud, 43, of Castle Road: community order made, including 60 hours of unpaid work over 12 months, and ordered to pay £115 compensation, £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs for fraud, by dishonestly making a false representation in purchasing two pairs of safety boots.

Lee James Young, 42, of Hutton Mulgrave, Whitby: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement and 150 hours of unpaid work over 12 months, plus £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs, and banned from driving for 18 months, for failing to stop and failing to give name and address of the vehicle owner after an accident on the A171, driving without due care and attention, and failing to report the accident to police.

January 9:

George Peter Crawford, 21, of Gatehowe Road, Thixendale, Malton: fined £629, plus £62 victim surcharge and £85 costs, and banned from driving for 24 months, for drink-driving, at Thixendale.

Kelsey Marie Ireland, 31, of St Leonard's Crescent: fined £224, plus £32 victim surcharge and £620 costs, and banned from driving for 15 months, for drink-driving, on the A165, driving without valid insurance and failing to stop.

Christopher Allan Oldfield, 26, of Dean Road, Norton: discharged conditionally for 12 months, and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £20 victim surcharge and £400 costs for assault.

Sarah May Tulip, 42, of Northstead Flats: community order made, including electronically monitored curfew for 12 weeks, and rehabilitation requirement, and ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 costs for assaulting a police constable, by beating him, at Scarborough police station, and, in Vernon Road, failing to leave an area when directed to do so, under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
