Police seize 100 suspected cannabis plants near Bridlington

Humberside Police have seized around 100 suspected cannabis plants from a building near Bridlington.

Officers had been called for a member of the public who was concerned about a suspicious vehicle being driven down Green Lane, Skipsea on Tuesday night and people going into the building.

When police searched the property, they found the plants in three different rooms.

A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and abstracting electricity.

Anyone with concerns about drugs in their area can call police via 101 or Crimestoppers, where information can be passed on anonymously on 0800 555111.
