Police make new appeal after Bridlington murder

Humberside Police are appealing for the public to assist them with their on-going murder investigation following the death of 39-year-old man Graham White in Bridlington four weeks ago.

Mr White sustained a fatal injury on Sewerby Road, following a disturbance ataround 4.30am on Wednesday 27 August.

The disturbance was an isolated incident involving two groups of people who were known to one another.

Following the incident six men, aged between 22 and 47, and a 14-year-old boy, were arrested and later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Senior investigating officer, DCI Wendy North said: “The investigation into Graham White’s murder is still on-going. The major incident team have spoken to a number of witnesses in the area at the time of the disturbance and many lines of enquiry are being pursued

“I would like to personally appeal to anyone else with information about the murder or the disturbance to call the police.

“No matter how insignificant you think your information is we want to speak to you, as you may hold the key to helping to identify those responsible for killing Mr White.

“Anyone with information no matter how small should call either Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 63 of August 27 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
