A man who shouted at a girl while she was playing hide-and-seek at a holiday park will be asked to explain his actions to police.
Officers said he was acting suspiciously at Thornwick Bay Caravan Park at Flamborough on Sunday lunchtime.
The man, who has been described as white, with curly gingery brown hair and beard, was said to have approached the nine-year-old and shouted at her before she ran off.
It happened at around 1pm. The girl was upset but unhurt.
A police spokesman said: "We want this individual to contact us to explain himself. He was wearing a black hoodie, black jogging bottoms and scruffy black running shoes. He may have been wearing gloves."
"Are you that man? Do you have any information? Call us quoting log 268 of 26/08/18."
