Police appeal after assault outside take-away

POLICE have appealed for witnesses to an alleged assault outside a Bridlington takeaway in the early hours of Tuesday.

A fight allegedly broke out between three men outside Tasties takeaway, on Cliff Street between 12.20am and 12.30am.

All three men sustained injuries and two of them were taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers arrested a 30-year old man, a 38-year old man and a 55-year old man in connection with the incident.

They were all questioned and released on police bail to a date in July pending further enquiries.

Police believe there may have been a woman, outside the takeaway at the time of the incident who witnessed the altercation and would appeal for her to come forward.
