Motorcyclist in hospital with ‘life-threatening’ injuries

A 24-year-old motorcyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Carnaby yesterday afternoon.

The collision involved two vehicles, including the Triumph Speed Triple motorcycle, whose rider was taken by ambulance to Hull Royal Infirmary where he remains.

The incident took place shortly after 4.30pm in Moor Lane, Carnaby.

It is believed the motorcycle collided with a blue Vauxhall Corsa as the car attempted to make a right turn. The driver of the car was uninjured.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and anyone who is able to provide information in connection with this collision is asked to call Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 quoting log number 548 of 26 June 2013.
