Growing concern over missing Bridlington man Damion Vernon


Humberside Police are releasing two CCTV images of Damion Vernon in the hope that it will prompt anyone who may have seen Damion since he went missing from his home in Bridlington.

Damion Vernon (32) of Headlands Close, Bridlington was reported missing at 1728hrs on Tuesday 09 December 2014. He was last seen on Monday 8 December and is believed to have left the Bridlington area.



He is described as white, 6ft tall with a slim build and short wavy light brown hair.

Senior Investigating Officer Matthew Baldwin says, “We are growing increasingly concerned about Damion. He has not been in contact with his family over Christmas and his disappearance is very out of character.

“By releasing these two images, taken as he went into a bank in Bridlington at 1415hrs on Monday 8 December, we are hoping that members of the public are aware of how Damion looked when he was last seen.

“It is believed that he may have left the Bridlington area but we have had no sightings of him after the 8 December.

“We are appealing for anyone who has seen Damion after the 8 December to contact us as a matter of urgency.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts are asked to contact Humberside Police on 101 referring to log 438 of 09 December 2014.
