Police said the fight broke out shortly after 1pm on Saturday in Kirkbymoorside and involved a number of teens.

Five people - all aged between 14 and 17 - have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the fight or who has any information about what happened is asked to contact police on 101, press one and pass information onto the force control room, quoting reference number 12210095352.
