Bridlington drugs raids - two due in court this morning

A man and woman have been charged with dealing Class A drugs following warrants carried out in Bridlington yesterday.

David Heeds, 33, of Haslemere Avenue, Bridlington, and Rose Lee, 31, of no fixed abode, are both charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and possession with intent to supply crack cocaine.

They have been remanded to appear before Beverley Magistrates Court this morning.

Sgt Georgina Kirkwood said: “We know that the supply and misuse of drugs causes serious harm to our communities and we’re committed to finding and dealing with those who involved in the trade in our area.

“Information from the public plays a vital role in helping us to do this.

“You know when something is not right in your area and it’s vital that you keep on picking up the phone and letting us know if you’re concerned.

“By putting together the information gathered by our officers out on the street and the details you provide, we can out together operations targeting those we believe to be responsible.”
