East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Business Services Team has achieved a major milestone, having been re-accredited with the Customer First Award for an incredible seventh time.
Customer First is a nationally-recognised external accreditation, examining the way organisations look after their customers. It is part of the National Enterprise Network and is awarded to ‘public-facing’ organisations which are audited every two years to ensure they are progressing and continue to offer good services and attention to their clients.
The service is assessed alongside an extensive list of criteria which tests the capability, market awareness and customer focus of the team’s interactions with the client base.
Councillor Jane Evison, cabinet portfolio holder for economic investment and tourism at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said: “To have secured the Customer First Award for a seventh time is a fantastic achievement and is all the more pleasing having received high praise from the external assessor about the business services team and the excellent service it provides.”
