Witnesses are sought after a 20-year-old man was left in a life threatening condition after his car came off the road and collided with a second car on Friday evening (July 3).
The collision occurred at 7.30pm between a grey MG ZR car and a black Ford Focus C-Max on Lighthouse Road, Flamborough.
It is believed the MG ZR car, which was being driven by a 20-year-old Flamborough man, left the road near to Carr House, approximately three-quarters of a mile west of Flamborough Lighthouse, where it is thought his car clipped the nearside verge before losing control and rolling over then colliding with the Ford Focus which was travelling in the same direction.
The driver of the MG ZR car was ejected from his car. Emergency services attended, blocking the road whist all people involved were seen to and the 20-year-old man was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary.
The driver of the MG ZR car is currently in a life threatening condition with internal organ, back and spinal injuries.
The driver (62) and passenger (62) in the Ford Focus C-Max, from Scunthorpe sustained minor injuries, whiplash and shock.
