Coastguard team alerted after reports of man walking into the sea

Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team were called after reports of a man walking into the sea yesterday morning (Saturday).

The team went to help HM Coastguard Hornsea search for the man at Hornsea at 7.19am.

They found his vehicle and immediately became concerned when they realised it had been damaged.

They then found the man on the beach and he was taken by boat back to the boathouse where ambulance crews took over the man's care.
