Young people who are looking for work have the opportunity to apply for more than 50 apprenticeship vacancies at an East Riding College event in Bridlington.

They will have the opportunity to apply, be interviewed and shortlisted for a wide variety of opportunities across the region.

The dedicated recruitment event, held at St Mary’s Walk on Tuesday 5 July (4pm to 6pm), is taking place to meet the unprecedented demand for new staff from over 20 East Yorkshire employers.

Luci Scott, the college’s business development manager, said: “This is the perfect time of year for young people to apply to become an apprentice as many are about to leave school or finish their current course.

“These events are an opportunity to find out more about each apprenticeship, take part in a quick interview and put yourself forward for genuine vacancies with employers who are looking for new staff right now.

“Apprentices are an excellent way to start your career and are available in hundreds of job roles.”

Anyone attending the events is advised to bring along a CV. For more information about the apprenticeship vacancies, go to or call 0345 1200044.
