VOTE: Should you be fined for staying in a loading bay longer than five minutes?

A Bridlington business owner is appealing after he was given a ticket for staying in a loading bay outside his shop for 17 minutes.

A warden said he saw no activity of loading or unloading from Nick's van for 10 minutes.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has confirmed: "If no loading or unloading activity is witnessed within a five minute period, a parking enforcement officer is entitled to serve a penalty notice."
