A new high-street name in moving into the Promenades Shopping Centre as another is leaving Bridlington.
Centre management have confirmed that Warren James, one of Britain’s leading jewellery stores, will open for trading in the summer.
It will move into the shop which is currently occupied by Ryman Stationery, whose lease expires in the next few months.
Maria Kamper, centre manager, said: “Whilst the closure of Ryman is disappointing, it has created an exciting retail opportunity.
“We are thrilled to announce that Warren James, one of the largest jewellery chains in the UK, will be taking over the unit.
“I can confirm that trading is set to commence on Saturday, June 17, and I am confident it will be well received by customers and traders as it is a high-quality shop and will complement our existing offer, giving people yet another reason to visit The Promenades.
“It is a very exciting time for us as the Jerome’s Café shop fit nears competition and these two new outlets will be an asset to the centre.”
Warren James has more than 160 branches around the country.
