A TV PROGRAMME showing the rescue of a woman who was thrown from a Bridlington log flume was aired on the BBC this week.
Ann Smallwood, 58, suffered serious leg injuries when she was tipped out of the Jungle River ride along with her four-year-old great-niece Isabella on August Bank Holiday Sunday.
BBC cameras captured the aftermath for the Helicopter Heroes series, which follows the Yorkshire Air Ambulance crew as they attend call-outs.
The footage shows Mrs Smallwood, of Rotherham, receiving treatment at the scene before being taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
It was screened on BBC1 on Monday and is still available to watch on the online BBC iPlayer.
Witnesses at the time described how the ride stopped abruptly at the bottom of its steepest descent, tipping Mrs Smallwood and Isabella out of the car and there were many inaccurate media reports that Mrs Smallwood had lost her leg in the incident.
The ride will remain closed pending the outcome of the Health and Safety Executive investigation.
