Pub of the Year Competition launched

The Bridlington Free Press this week gives you the chance to help choose the Pub of the Year.

We are asking readers to make their nominations in a competition that will highlight the great pubs in the town and surrounding villages, including Carnaby, Sewerby, Flamborough and Bempton.

The pubs will be judged on the quality and range of ales, the atmosphere and decor, service and clientele mix.

Readers can nominate their favourite pub by commenting on our website story, or by messaging us on our Facebook page. Votes can also be cast by Tweeting us, or filling in the entry coupon in this week’s paper and posting it to Times House, Mill Street, Driffield, YO25 6TN.

Alternatively, send your entry by mobile, by texting BFP (space) PUB (space) followed by the name of the pub you are voting for (space) followed by your full name, address and email address to 61500.

Texts will cost £1.00 plus standard network rate.

Always seek permission from the bill payer before texting. From time to time we may contact you with the details of our offer and competitions.

If you don’t want to receive these end message with the word EXIT.

Any texts received after the closing date won’t be counted but may still be charged. The winner will be featured in the Bridlington Free Press.

We will then draw up a shortlist and a judging
panel will make an unannounced visit to help decide the best.

Closing date for entries is Thursday 17th July 2014 at 12 noon. For full terms and conditions go to
