CLIFFE House Nursery raised more than £500 for a local charity after more than 100 people visited their autumn fair.
The fair was held at the nursery on Third Avenue earlier this month and raised £540 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
It had plenty to offer with refreshments, homemade cakes, a bottle tombola and a raffle to which local businesses and the Air Ambulance donated items.
Before the fair, the nursery put on their Christmas play, Twas The Night Before Christmas, with 30 of the nursery’s children performing.
Family and friends attended the play before the autumn fair.
Rachel Grey, deputy manager at Cliffe House Nursery, said staff wanted the money raised to go to a local charity, which is the reason why they choose the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, saying: “You never know when you will need to use them.”
