Bridlington Leisure World - this is how it used to look
Bridlington's new £25million leisure centre has been one of the town's biggest success stories in recent years - but do you remember the old building?
We've found these photographs in the Free Press archives which show how things used to be before the massive redevelopment.
5. Artist's impression
This shows how the new East Riding Leisure Bridlington was planned to look when the first designs were revealed to the public.
The old centre was decorated with pieces of graffiti art from national competitions held in Bridlington in the 1980s.
7. The pools
Does this bring back memories? The swimming pools and the wave pool at the old Leisure World. And remember the underground changing rooms?
The bulldozers moved in and knocked down the old building, which included the 3Bs Theatre. The new leisure centre was built on the same site.
