Bridlington businesses shortlisted for tourism awards

A host of Bridlington businesses have been shortlisted for recognition at a regional tourism awards ceremony.

The annual Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs) night will be hosted by The Spa Bridlington on Thursday 13 March.

Bridlington businesses nominated for awards this year are: Lincoln House, Bridlington, nominated in the Remarkable Bed and Breakfast category along with Village Farm, Skipsea; Carlton Apartments, The Crescent, Bridlington in the Remarkable Self Catering Provider category along with Field House Farm Cottages, Sewerby and High Barn Cottages in Bempton; Wold Top Brewery at Wold Newton nominated in the Remarkable Fayre class with Mr Moo’s Real Dairy Ice Cream in Skipsea; Vanilla Ice-Cream Parlour, The Esplanade, Bridlington is nominated for the Remarkable Cuppa award; The Spa Bridlington is up for recognition in the Remarkable Business Tourism category; RSPB Bempton, the Living Seas Centre at Flamborough and Gallery 49 in Old Town are nominated for the Remarkable Visitor Attraction and nominated in the Remarkable Sustainable category is High Barn Cottages at Bempton.

The fifth annual awards night honours the best businesses in the area for their contribution to the area’s economy and popularity with tourists.
