FEATURING in a national television advert might be daunting for most 11-year-old boys.

But not for Bridlington youngster Lewis Hill, who has been in the modelling business since before he can remember.

And according to proud mum Natalie Atkins, after appearing in an advert for national camping shop Go Outdoors, Lewis is taking it all in his stride.

“Lewis first did modelling when he was 10 weeks old when he was in a Mamas and Papas catalogue, so he’s taken to this really well,” said Natalie of Cornfield Crescent.

“We didn’t even realise the advert would be shown up here in Yorkshire as we thought it may just air down south, but we had some of his friends come round and tell us when they had seen it on the television.”

Lewis, who attends St Mary’s Primary School, travelled to Castleford and Sheffield for the auditions for the role – and also landed a modelling job for the Xscape centre in Castleford.

“We’re all really proud of Lewis for getting so far, I think he really enjoys it and we’re still going to audition for other parts. We were at one recently to be on a Hovis advert. I definitely think he’ll keep it up.”

Lewis, and his 11-year-old sister Ellie, who attends Bridlington School, appeared together on a national advert for furniture company DFS around four years ago.
