SCHOOLBOY Bradley Marshall is back home in Bridlington after spending the summer in America receiving special cancer treatment.
The family relocated to Jacksonville for two months so that 10-year-old Bradley could receive pioneering proton treatment to a cancerous tumour on his spine that had survived two operations in the UK to remove it.
Speaking from the family home in Queensgate, Bradley said that he had enjoyed his time in the States and said that the treatment he received at the Florida Proton Therapy Institute centre had not caused him any pain.
Bradley, his parents David and Dawn and sister Adele now have an anxious wait of up to a year before they will know whether the Proton therapy has been a success.
