SAINT Catherine’s Hospice is on the lookout for supporters who have a lot of ‘bottle’.

The hospice is looking forward to another busy year of fundraising events and is looking for raffle and tombola prizes – especially bottles.

Fundraiser Jane Richardson explained: “We know there will be many people out there who received extra or unwanted gifts of bottles of wine or spirits over Christmas. The hospice has a number of fundraising events coming up this year and the donation of any of those unwanted bottles for raffle and tombola prizes would be very welcome indeed!”

The biggest event in need of donations will be the summer ball on 11h June, which always has a giant bottle tombola.

“Every contribution that people make to these events helps us to raise funds for patient care, so bottles passed onto us are very much appreciated said Jane.”

Anyone wishing to donate bottles can either leave them at the Hospice reception in Scarborough or phone the Fundraising department on 01723 378406 to arrange their donation.
