Attempted burglary

Police are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a convenience store in Bridlington.

The incident at Chews and Booze on West Street occurred between 8,30pm on Monday and 8.30am on Tuesday, when an unknown offender(s) approached the business and attempted to force entry through a UPVC door.

An attempt to enter the property above the shop was also made, but again was unsuccessful.

The incident resulted in damage to both doors and police are urging anyone with information about the incident or who knows who may be responsible to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number quoting log 101 of February 14.
