AN ARGUMENT inside a Bridlington pet shop led to a man being assaulted.
It happened on June 28 when a 55-year-old and another man began arguing inside the Old Town Pet Store on St John Street at about 11.20am.
The men, who knew each other, were both escorted out of the shop by a staff member and once outside the 55-year-old was allegedly assaulted by the man he had been arguing with.
He suffered injuries to his neck.
Police arrested a 50-year-old man in connection with the incident and he has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
