Appeal after alleged assault on Market Place, Bridlington

A WOMAN was allegedly assaulted by someone she knew in Market Place, in Bridlington’s Old Town.

Police are appealing for information in connection with the incident, which took place between 9.30am and 9.45am on Friday, March 2.

A 21-year-old woman was walking alone through a car park, when she was approached by a woman she knew.

The two women were involved in an argument, before the woman alleged assaulted the 21-year-old.

The victim attended Scarborough Hospital, but did not sustain any injuries.

The offender is described as a white female, aged in her late teens, around 5 feet 7 ins tall and of a slim build. She had blonde hair tied back in a pony tail, and was wearing a bright pink coat, jeans and wellington boots.
