The Spa Bridlington has released its forthcoming attraction brochure, with a number of top acts on the way to the town.
A huge variety of music, comedy, dance and theatre awaits the people of Bridlington in an action packed programme of events.
Highlights include comedian Tim Vine who is doing his first stand-up tour in four years on 10 October with the punslinger returning with lots of new jokes, silly songs and twitchy dancing.
October 23 sees singer Anita Harris take to the stage showcasing music, chat, rare film and TV clips of her work with comedy and surprises. Her impressive career has taken her to Las Vegas, London’s West end and performing on the Carry On films.
A world-renowned psychic returns to Bridlington Spa on November 11 when Sally Morgan brings her gift of talking to those beyond the grave.
The following week will see The 1975 rock The Spa following the release of their new album. The band’s first self-titled album topped the UK’s Album Chart in September 2013 consisting of popular tracks ‘Girls’, ‘The City’, and ‘Chocolate’.
Christmas time sees Pantomime season start and this year’s production is Peter Pan starring a number of famous names such as Arthur Bostrom, who is commonly known as Captain Crabtree in BBC sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo, as Captain Hook with dates starting from 14 December.
This New Year’s Eve The Spa Bridlington will play host to Britain’s biggest Motown spectacular celebrating 50 years of the label’s legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and Jackson 5. The party will go on until 1am and The Spa will go live to Westminster for the countdown to new year.
Paddy McGuinness will feature on stage for his long-awaited return to stand-up on 13 February following a number of TV appearances on Coronation Street as well as hosting ITV’s Take Me Out.
