STRUGGLING to find to find the perfect Christmas gift for your friends and family?
Well the management of Sewerby Hall and Gardens may have the answer.
The Hall is offering it’s popular animal adoption scheme, in which members of the public can ‘adopt’ any animal living on the grounds.
From as little as £12, you can receive an adoption pack which includes an adoption certificate, a key-ring, a quarterly newsletter and two complimentary admission vouchers to Sewerby Hall and Gardens to visit your chosen animal.
A sign on the animal’s enclosure will include your name, stating you have adopted that animal for one year, and the scheme is open to everyone – individuals, families, schools/clubs, societies, businesses and companies.
Another gift for a friend or family member is the Sewerby Hall and Gardens’ 2012 season pass which is now available priced at £16 for adults, £8.50 for children (three-15 years old) and £45 for a family (up to two adults and three children).
The pass allows unlimited access to the hall, zoo and gardens during normal opening hours throughout the year.
Marie Gascoigne, facility manager of Sewerby Hall and Gardens, said: “People are always on the look-out for unusual Christmas gifts.
“Why give yet another pair of socks, a DVD or a book when, from as little as £12, you could adopt one of our animals or birds for a whole year?
“Coupled with a season pass, you can come along and visit your newly adopted friend at any time when the zoo is open. Outstanding value, a season pass will have paid for itself after only a few visits.”
For the golfers out there, the Hall also offers golf season passes, which are available from £45. The passes make unusual gifts for both casual and professional golfers alike.
