The road is closed in both directions between the Carnaby roundabout and Brandesburton roundabout.
Humberside Police have confirmed the emergency services are responding to reports of a collision involving a bus and multiple cars on the A165, near to Lissett shortly.
Police received reports of he incident shortly before 1.45pm today, Friday 29 November.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
