A study has revealed the most expensive streets in North Yorkshire, by average house price, over the last decade.

New data has revealed the most expensive roads in the county between 2010 and 2020, by average house price, with roads in and around Harrogate and York dominating the top of the list.

Homes on Crow Hill Lane, High Birstwith, Harrogate, sold for an average of £1.54 million over the decade, ahead of Fulwith Mill Lane, Rossett Green, Harrogate, which took second spot after fetching an average price of £1.45m.

The list has been compiled by house price valuation specialists Mouseprice, part of PropertyHeads, a property portal and social network.

Properties on Crow Hill Lane, High Birstwith, Harrogate, sold for an average of £1,541,275, between 2010 and 2020.

It found that homes across Yorkshire sold for an average of £189,736 over the period, with sales averaging £251,973 in North Yorkshire.

“Like many locations across the country, Yorkshire was in the middle of what was a crazy decade for the property market and one which will be remembered for its eye-watering house prices.”

Homes on Fulwith Mill Lane, Rossett Green, Harrogate, sold for an average of £1,448,401.
Homes on Park Edge, Harrogate, sold for an average price of £1,364,210.
Properties on Yew Tree Close, Harrogate, sold for an average price of £1,343,275, between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on the private Government House Road, in Clifton, York, sold for an average of £1,284,950.
Properties on Moorber Lane, Coniston Cold, Skipton, sold for an average of £1,278,900.
Properties on Sussex Avenue, Harrogate, sold for an average of £1,264,304 between 2010 and 2020.
Properties on St Saviourgate, York, sold for an average price of £1,234,020.
Properties on Scarcliffe, Birstwith, Harrogate, sold for an average of £1,216,008.
Properties on Follifoot Lane, Kirkby Overblow, Harrogate, sold for an average price of £1,148,175.
Homes on The Purey Cust, York, sold for an average of £1,139,066 over the decade.
