Flamborough the starting point for classic car club’s coast-to coast journey

A Flamborough venue will be the starting point for a classic car coast-to-coast event next month.

A Flamborough venue will be the starting point for a classic car coast-to-coast event next month.

On Saturday, July 3, around 50 classic Triumph cars will arrive at the Headlands Restaurant for the start of a 400-mile run. The cars set off at 6pm after refreshments and briefings from 4.30pm.

The Coast 2 Coast run, which covers the route over a 14-hour period, is run by the Club Triumph group, a dedicated group that restores and runs Triumph cars.

A spokesman said: “We are an active classic car club and drive events all over the country and the continent.

“Over the years we have raised more than £750,000 for different charities from RNLI to various Cancer Trusts.

“Spectators are most welcome to come along to the start.”
