An online support group has been set up to help Scarborough people in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Facebook group - Coronovirus Isolation Support in Scarborough UK (And Surrounding Areas) - is for people who need help or those who can offer it.

According to the group's description, it is aimed at matching those who would like to help others in their community with those who are in need of support because of the virus outbreak.

Its examples of support range from fetching urgent items from shops to playing online games with someone to deal with isolation boredom.
