Pupils’ Bugsy show success

The main hall at Headlands School was transformed into Fat Sam’s Grand Slam speakeasy, as students put on a brilliant production of Bugsy Malone.

The 60-strong cast and crew staged four evening performances for staff, students, parents and friends and hundreds of primary school pupils from Bridlington came to Headlands last Wednesday to watch a preview of the show.

Cathryn Morgan, head of performing arts, said: ”Thank you so much to everyone who supported our production of Bugsy Malone and helped make it a huge success.

“Particularly those who helped out in some way during the rehearsals and on the show nights but also those who came to watch and gave us such amazing and encouraging feedback.”
