Lloyd Dowson’s bake off day raises £1,060 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance
Tasty treats were the order of the day at Lloyd Dowson Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisors.
Team members took part in a ‘bake off’ on Tuesday, April 6 and the business made a donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance is an independent charity providing a life-saving rapid response emergency service to five million people across the county.
The charity was set up in 2000 and added a second ambulance helicopter in October 2007.
As a rapid response air emergency service, the two air ambulances cover the whole of the region.
Yorkshire Air Ambulance now operates its own Dedicated air desk for rapid dispatch of their helicopters to an incident.
The staff at Lloyd Dowson raised £1,060 for the charity.
Vanessa Rowbottom, marketing director for Lloyd Dowson said: “It is great to show our support for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
“The rapid medical interventions provided by the air ambulance crews have a huge impact on a patient’s chance of survival and quality of life.”
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance relies heavily on the generosity of the public and organisations to keep the service active.
