Describe how you feel about Yorkshire to be in with a chance of winning a Betty’s hamper worth £200.
Bellway Homes is hoping to make this year’s Yorkshire Day (Sunday, August 1) one to cherish as it appeals for people from across the region to get creative and submit pictures, photos, poetry or even prose that they feel best captures how they feel about ‘Their Yorkshire’.
The company will then pick its favourites from the entries and share on social media and through the press – with the one that stands out being awarded a special hamper worth £200 from Betty’s.
Bellway Yorkshire’s sales director Melanie Smith said: “Yorkshire means so many different things to so many different people, and it’s easy to understand why when you consider how much is packed within its borders – busy city centres to beauty spots that are known all over the world; miles of amazing coastline to towns and villages that helped to shape Britain as it is today.
“With Yorkshire Day fast approaching we thought it’d be great to get people thinking about what makes it Their Yorkshire by asking them to capture it in way that others can really enjoy.
“I can’t wait to see what comes in. In fact, I’m already thinking how I’d go about capturing My Yorkshire – there’s just so much the phrase conjures up.”
For those who capture Their Yorkshire and would like to share it, Bellway has asked for their efforts to be emailed to [email protected]
