Crofts Chocolates co-owner Alex Grant said: “We know it's been a tough year for everyone, but we think it's probably been even harder for those in care, that's why for Mother's Day, we've decided to give a free box of chocolates for every box we sell to someone in care at St Cecelia's. Each box will be given as an anonymous gift with a card reading 'Someone is thinking of you.”

Mike Padgham, managing director, of St Cecilia’s Care Group, said: “This is a very kind and generous offer from Alex at Crofts Chocolates and on behalf of all our mums across our homes, we say a huge ‘thank you’.

“It is a particularly kind gesture given that all high street shops are facing their own particular challenges at the moment.

“Mother’s Day is a special time for our ladies, but it can also be a lonely time too. This year won’t quite be the same as usual, but we will be going all out to ensure they all have a lovely day, and these chocolates will make it that little bit more special.”
