Bridlington Town fans get chance to help club build for future with buy a brick fundraiser

The Bridlington Town wall of fame will allow fans to leave their imprint on the club by buying a brick and putting their own message and/or name on it, and in the process help the Seasiders boost their coffers during a time of great financial uncertainty due to the lockdowns and Covid-19 restrictions.

Town spokesman Dom Taylor said: “Due to the success of our buy a brick fundraising scheme we are pleased to announce we will be placing a second order for the commemorative bricks.

“We’re offering you; the true supporters of Bridlington Town Football Club the opportunity to create an even stronger bond with the Seasiders by adding a personalised brick to preserve the club’s past and help secure its future.

“You can buy a brick for yourself, friends, family or loved ones.

“Why not buy an engraved brick to celebrating births and marriage, as well as paying a fitting tribute to loved ones that are no longer with us, professionally engraved with your own personal message, in their memory on to a brick.”

A commemorative brick will cost £25 each.

Taylor added: “The ‘wall of fame’ is inside the ground, where it is confidently predicted that it will be constructed with the custom-made, laser engraved bricks for our loyal Seasiders fans, where it is envisaged that the memorial wall will become a pre-game meeting place for friends and families.

“Each brick allows a personalised message of two lines with a maximum of 16 characters per line.

“The lettering is in black or gold.

“For the fan that would like to show their support on a grander scale, there is the opportunity to purchase a double sized brick for £50, ideal for corporate supporters to have a permanent statement of their help in buying the club for the fans.”
