Now they are working together to create ‘Liz’s Bash’ a fund raising evening in memory of Caroline’s sister Liz (pictured) who lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer earlier this year.

Caroline said: “The evening will be a celebration of Liz’s life and will include all the things she loved – food, wine, lots of dancing and lots of laughs. “We have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity with services for the event, items for the silent auction and cash donations already coming in”.

Tickets for the event, being held on Saturday 11th October, are available from Caroline Maltas on 01964 527724 priced at £30 each

To round off the weekend there will also be a Charity Wedding Fayre from 12pm-4pm on Sunday 12th October, showcasing West Carlton Country Guest House and Village Farm Marquees as well as a number of their recommended suppliers.

Chrysta Newman from Village Farm Marquees said: “We are delighted to support Caroline and Tim with these events, raising money for such a worthy cause”.

Proceeds from both events will be donated to Cancer Research specifically for Ovarian Cancer Research.
