Heather announces U-turn for popular Scarborough Books by the Beach
Due to overwhelming support director of Books by the Beach Heather French has changed her mind about the event's future.
She cancelled this year's festival due to the coronavirus - and announced that she would not organise the event in future years.
"Due to the overwhelming messages of support I’ve received over the past two weeks, I’ve decided to organise Books by the Beach next year." she said.
"We all need something to look forward to in these difficult times and it just seemed the right thing to do."
The dates will be announced shortly.
