Top dogs are at club’s meeting

BRIDLINGTON and District Canine Society held their monthly match meeting recently with a guest judge watching over events.

The match meeting on October 11 saw Erjonebony Rose, a rough collie owned by L Didsworth win the in the puppy class and Louise Pinkney’s Irish Wolfhound, Rivenhound Imperial cream to Hydebeck, win in the adult class.

The Irish Wolfhound was also named Best in Match, as guest judge Michele Horne oversaw proceedings.

The next meeting of the society will take place on November 8 at Reighton Village Hall with the match taking place at 8pm and puppy training getting under way at 7.30pm.

The hightlight of the society’s year, the annual show, in which over 500 dogs took part last year, will take place at the Beverley Leisure Centre on Sunday, December 18.
