Bridlington’s Spotlight Theatre are busy putting the finishing touches to their Christmas panto, which this year tells the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
With just days to go before the opening night on 14 December, the cast of 25, are looking forward to wowing audiences this Christmas.
This year will be the 12th pantomime produced by the Bridlington Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society and there will be no shortage of laughter in this year’s production.
Written by Mike Hammond, who stars as Dame Trott, the production has something for everyone, heroes, villains, magic beans a fairy and even a 9ft tall giant.
Mike said: “There’s heroes, villains, romance and a lot of the features you see in pantomimes and there will be opportunities for audience participation.
“They’ll be plenty of laughs and hopefully everything will go to plan, we’ve been rehearsing since October.”
The pantomime runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the 14th December to the 5th January.
Tickets are available at Bridlington Blinds and Curtains on Bridge Street, adults £8 and children £5.
