EAST Riding Youth Dance returns to Bridlington Spa on Tuesday – and is recruiting youngsters in Bridlington to join the project for it’s new term
Run by East Riding Council, the project includes weekly sessions with professional artists which work towards performances each term.
Two sessions a week take place at Bridlington Spa on Tuesday evening, starting on January 17, led by Dance Artist Laura Watts who will again be supported by Lindsey Lovel.
The 11-13 year old class runs from 4.30pm to 6pm, while the class for youngsters aged 14-18 runs from 6.15pm to 8.15pm.
Classes are open to all abilities with the emphasis on fun, while helping to create a piece to perform at the Spa at the end of term.
The cost of taking part is £35 per term, which is payable in cash on the first night or by cheque to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and sent to Arts Development, HF43, County Hall, Beverley, HU17 9BA.
All young people who take part in the project will also be given the opportunity to see Random Dance Company perform FAR at the Spa on Monday January 30 at a reduced rate. For more information, call Michelle McCoy on 01482 392653 or 07795 337492 or visit www.eryd.co.uk
