VISITORS flocked to the scarecrow festival at Ulrome Methodist Chapel last weekend.
Children and adults alike enjoyed the festival held on June 3, 4 and 5 to see the scarecrows, which were designed with a biblical theme.
The scarecrows were donated by St Johns Burlington Church, who held their own festival in May.
Peggy Watson, who helped organise the day, said: “Everyone had a great time, and the scarecrows looked fantastic.
“Lots of children came from the nearby caravan parks and we were pleasantly surprised to see how many children knew the biblical stories the stories were based on, so we could talk to them about it.
“We would also like to thank St Johns Burlington Methodist Church for kindly loaning the scarecrows to us.”
