TICKETS for The xx’s performance with the BBC Philharmonic orchestra at the Spa Bridlington are now available by public ballot.

And the BBC have confirmed that half of all those tickets available will be allocated to postcodes in Bridlington and the surrounding area as part of the free random draw.

Mercury Music Prize winners The xx will perform at the Spa on the evening of Wednesday September 19 as part of the BBC Philharmonic Presents Festival.

The concert will be broadcast live on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show from 7pm and available to watch via bbc.co.uk/radio1 and the BBC Red Button.

All tickets are free and will be allocated via a random draw after registration ends on Monday September 10 at 9pm.
