ArtERY Live anticipates one hundred years since the outbreak of the First World War by bringing a new show Standing in Line to Bridlington Spotlight Theatre, in West Street, on Saturday 2 November at 7.30pm.

It is the story of the Great War and specifically about soldier Albert Scrimshaw, who died at Passendale and was the great-uncle of the show’s writer, Lester Simpson. Standing in Line is centred around Lester’s songs as well as including songs from the time.
