This May, the Cambridge-Oxford Owners’ Club will be showcasing vintage, classic and thoroughbred vehicles in the grounds of the magnificent stately home.
On Sunday 11th May, from 11am-5pm visitors are invited to enjoy a glorious collection of classic cars that include Austin Cambridge, Morris Oxford, MG Magnette, Riley 4.72, Morris Minor and Wolseley, with many more cars and motor cycles from the 1950s and 1960s.
During the event, visitors are also invited to take a stroll in the Elizabethan walled garden to see the spring flowers blooming, and the Elizabethan stately home will be open to explore. The courtyard shops will be filled with the new season’s stock, while home grown plants, all propagated from the gardens, will be sold in the courtyard. The cafe is open for freshly prepared meals, home baked cakes and refreshments; delicious local ice creams and freshly ground coffee will be served from our vintage ice cream van.
After the Classic Car Rally, the next event at Burton Agnes is our Gardeners’ Fair on the 7th and 8th June, at which visitors can enjoy a summer celebration of gardening with stalls, talks and plant surgeries.
