THE star-studded line-up for this year’s Brid Bash has been confirmed.
Last week, it was announced that the returning Olly Murs of X-Factor fame, as well as London chart-toppers The Feeling, will be taking to the stage.
They joined rapper and chart sensation Chipmunk, soul singer and TV personality Dionne Bromfield, top 10 girl band Parade, pop dance act Six D ,vocalist Loick Essien, and another band with X-Factor connections, former builders Reason 4.
They will all be heading to the town for the summer gig, held at the Spa, next Thursday, August 11.
Olly Murs is the X Factor phenomenon who has already enjoyed success with a number one single and double platinum album.
The Feeling are renowned for their live shows and have sold over two million albums in the UK alone, spawning six Top 40 singles including Fill My Little World and Sewn.
The Free Press spoke to Reason 4, former builders Marc, Scot, Glenn and Nate, last month about their plans for the Bash.
“We can’t wait to get to Bridlington and get on stage, we’re hoping to put on a great show for everyone,” said Glenn.
“We have a new single and mini-album released in the same week, and those songs are the ones we will be performing at the Brid Bash.”
Viking FM DJ Paul Foster thinks it will be the biggest Brid Bash yet: “Last year’s concert was a resounding success and we’re confident it’s going to be the most unforgettable gig in Bridlington this year.
“This is a fantastic event for the town and one that we love being a part of.
“We’re really pleased to have Olly and The Feeling join the line up and Brid Bash is set to be an outstanding live event of music for the whole family.”
Tickets are £18.50 each and available at www.vikingfm.co.uk/bridbash or from the Spa box office on 678258.
