TICKETS are now on sale for one of the world’s favourite childhood fairytales, Beauty and the Beast, which comes to Bridlington Spa this Christmas.

This year’s pantomime will star Big Brother’s original winner, Craig Phillips, who appeared on the first ever series in 2000.

Since Big Brother, Craig has also forged a successful career as a television DIY expert, making shows for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Five, Sky One, and Discovery, reaching millions of viewers as far as Korea, New Zealand and the USA.

He has also raised thousands of pounds for various charities through marathons, cycling events and a Christmas charity single.

He made his pantomime debut in 2002 as Buttons in a performance of Cinderella at Liverpool’s Royal Court Theatre.

He will play the part of Gaston in this year’s panto.

Last year, the Spa hosted Jack and the Beanstalk to packed houses, with a cast starring TV gardening expert Charlie Dimmock and Four Poofs And A Piano entertainer Ian Parkin.

Along with Craig, the Spa will welcome back their very own pantomime leading lady, Lisa Kelsey as Beauty.

Beauty and the Beast will run from December 18 this year to January 6, 2013.

Tickers are priced at £13.50 each, excluding Boxing Day performances. For information call 01482 395150 or visit www.TheSpaBridlington.com.
