LOOK out for your free copy of a new guide to the best of local food and drink.
Free with next week's Gazette and Herald, the East Riding Local Food Guide is packed with information about local producers, farm shops, farmers markets, caterers, B&Bs and restaurants offering local food and ingredients.

Produced by the East Riding Rural Partnership in association with the Combine organisation, its aim is to encourage more people to try high quality local food, and in doing so contribute to maintaining the East Riding countryside and its market towns and independent producers.

It also contains an invitation for people to visit a local food festival which is being organised in Bridlington on Sunday, July 13.

Sponsored by Yorkshire Forward, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and Leader – a European and UK government funded initiative, it is also available from local Tourist Information Centres.
